Biography

Catherine Dale has nearly twenty years’ experience in the NHS in London, including more than fifteen years in service improvement and transformation roles. Catherine is the co-lead for the national patient safety collaborative programme enhancing reliable care for deteriorating patients. She is an expert in the quality improvement methodology Experience-Based Co-Design (EBCD) and developed the EBCD toolkit. In 2017 she taught on the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s inaugural ‘Co-design College’ in Boston, USA. Catherine has a Masters in Business Psychology and served a four-year term as a Labour Councillor in Southwark.
