I have previously worked within the RCGP to promote quality improvement. I have co-authored a guide called "Quality improvement for General Practice" available at www.rcgp.org.uk/qi I have been involved in develping QI training for all the primary care team and have sat on a group for the AoMRC to produce recommendations on QI training. In the past I co-lead a project on improving care for patients living with diabetes using QI and also one for using QI in the early diagnosis of cancer . Now retired
