Biography

Anna is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and UK Clinical Director at Koa Health. After completing the Health Foundation GenQ Programme, she holds a Masters in Leadership (QI) (Merit) from Ashridge Business School. She is an ardent improver. Her thesis in the GenQ Masters programme inquired into the development of MBCL (Mindfulness Based Compassionate Leadership). Her particular interest is in relational leadership and she has worked with the Executive team at UCLH with this approach. She also supported the leaders of the EHRS Programme during their ambitious project to implement Electronic Health Records. Anna has worked with a variety of improvement methods including the IHI model, aspects of Lean, Appreciative Inquiry, Theory of Constraints. She is a member of the Q Special Interest group Mindfulness for QI. Her specialist clinical expertise is Pain Management and Health Psychology but she has designed and managed psychological services in a wide range of physical and mental health settings. Anna is an honorary lecturer at UCL and an Honorary Consultant Clinical Psychologist at BEH & C&I Mental Health Trust.
