I am the National Lead for Frequent Attenders, Unscheduled Care. I'm currently leading on work with Emergency Departments in Wales, in collaboration with a broad spectrum of partner agencies, aimed at ensuring our frequent attenders/callers receive personalised and sustained support in a more appropriate sector for their needs. I worked as an Emergency Department Sister in Cardiff and Vale UHB for 17 yrs and implemented the award winning C&V Frequent Attender Service, now in its 6th year. The service has won 2 NHS Wales Awards for Working Seamlessly across Organisations and the Chief Medical Officers Award for Outstanding Contribution to Prudent Healthcare. I am also the 2016 RCN Nurse of the Year for Innovation
