Hello everyone, My name is Angela Tysall and I have been working for over 10 years as the National Lead for Open Disclosure in the HSE Quality Improvement Team. My role is the development and implementation of the HSE Open Disclosure Policy and Programme. My background is in general nursing and midwifery with clinical nurse specialist roles in minor illness and ear care. I love what I do as my job involves working with so many stakeholders including patients and their families, patient representatives and advocates, staff across all of our health and social care services, professional, regulatory and indemnifyng bodies, trade unions, colleges and universities and experts from all over the world. I am part of a fantastic team of people who are keen quality improvers. I am keen to learn more and share my learning and experience to help make health care a better experience for those working in it and accessing it.
