Has specialised in orthopaedics and MSK physiotherapy for 24 years, with a particular interest in innovation and mentorship in this area around patient centred care. Has published articles and presented nationally and internationally on redesigning the care pathway for postoperative total knee replacement patients and direct access first contact physiotherapy in primary care (FCPP). Currently supporting the development of FCPP nationally, alongside the Chartered society of Physiotherapy and Health Education England; has developed a standardised national electronic template to prove the effectiveness, governance and sustainability of the role, and is involved in the national mentorship for emerging FCPP models for physiotherapists and other Allied Health Professionals.
