I have worked in the English National Health Service (NHS) with data, its users and the processes that produce it since 1981. In 2018 I retired from full time work as Head of Information and Statistics for Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, and now work part time for the Trust as an Information Specialist.
I was fortunate to read lots about W Edwards Deming in the early 1990s and then to join the British Deming Association.
