Hi everyone in the Evaluation SIG
We are well underway with out project funded by a Q exchange 3 award. Its well underway and we are doing some evaluation ourselves of one part of the project. I am after advice and guidance about improving this evaluation and the best way to evaluate the other part of the project. I think there may have been some sessions on evaluation back in June / July but missed these. Can anyone point me in the right direction for help please?
What sort of evaluation are you aiming to do. Different jobs need different tools. For example, are you mainly looking at impact on patients and families or staff, or money , or activity?

We are mainly looking at the impact on families – do they feel supported and informed after diagnosis ? (We know they did not before because of previous feedback we have received)

@emma-gibbard can get in touch with you about the sessions she ran for the Q Exchange teams – hopefully that will provide you with some ideas, but I’m sure others in this group could provide some peer review of your theory of change/evaluation plans if that’s also something you’d find useful.
