If you’re interested in mapping your network and understanding the ‘Network Patterns’ at play join Q’s Liberating Structures user group on Thursday 1st July.

    More info/register here: https://q.health.org.uk/event/q-liberating-structures-user-group-11th-meet-up-zoom/

We’ll be starting with some ‘Social Network Webbing’ (ie ‘Map informal connections & decide how to strengthen the network to achieve a purpose’) – to look at our shared network: https://www.liberatingstructures.com/23-social-network-webbing/

Then we’ll use the ‘Network Pattern Cards’ to understand which of the 10 network patterns is our ‘official’ pattern, which is our on-the-ground experience, and which pattern could generate more productive interactions.

‘Network Pattern Cards’ is a new ‘Liberating Structure in development’, which aims to ‘Identify and shape more productive work patterns’: https://www.liberatingstructures.com/ls-in-development/

Our official time is always 12-1pm – but if you’re interested in joining in with the network-mapping please join by 11.45am, if you’re able to, as we’ll be doing much of that before midday.

We also plan an optional 30-minute section after 1pm for people who want to stay and use ‘Troika Consulting’ to get help in relation to what we’ve uncovered together during the main session.

The session will be facilitated by ‘Network Weaver’ Kristin Johnstad, who’s part of the team leading Q’s current ‘Network Weaving’ learning series.

(Btw, if anyone would like to work with Kristin on this session – for example helping out with Zoom rooms etc – do let me know asap).

This promises to be an exciting LS user group session – trying out some new Liberating Structures together, and learning a lot about the characteristics of our networks, and how to improve them. Hopefully you will be able to then use some of these tools to work with your own networks…

    Hope you can join us!
