Hi all, I’m Head of Quality Improvement at Welsh Ambulance Service.
We’re big fans of Trello as a organisation tool for the team’s work/tasks, and some of the larger cross-directorate projects we work on. We’re really trying to push our organisation towards digital collaborative tools and get colleagues more comfortable (and digitally aware) when using them (and when not to use them).
Really looking forward to working with and learning from you all.
Jonathan
Hi Jonathan
Welcome and thank you for posting!
This sounds great, can I ask which version of Trello you use? I have looked at this for our team although the free version has very limited about of cards/boards – am I right?
Hi Daniel
We’re using the free version – limited functionality (10 board I seem to recall, and limited integration with calendars etc); I think we do have a couple of colleagues in the Trust with paid access, but only on an individual level. I’m aware of some areas of the Civil Service are using Trello as a core tool, with great success.
We are currently only using this as an ‘enhancer’ to our traditional set ups.
This sounds amazing Jonathan, I think there could be some further discussion around the app, what do you think?
Absolutely, maybe it could be worth linking in the with the civil service dept to!
Definitely – do you have any contacts? I think a demo would be good if they are well integrated
I have a contact based in London – I’ll reach out!
Great!
@danielwestwood; I spoke to them – it is being used largely organisational wide, but is not a formal tool of the business. Similar to our use, although on a smaller scale.
Thanks Jonathan, Throughout October I am planning on running a Themed month. This explores one element of tech a week. Lets delve into the Trello iceberg then? Maybe you can support in session?
Hi Daniel,
Yes I’d be happy to be a part of the conversation, do keep me in the loop!
