    Hi There!
I am hoping this lovely community can help point me in the right direction!
I have an idea for a submission in mind but I am not sure if its appropriate. I support a project that has developed a pathway for female urinary incontinence that involves patients being seen in the Community Continence Service for an in depth assessment and the opportunity to explore conservative management options, before being referred to secondary care outpatient waiting list for a surgery that may not be needed or wanted. If surgery is required, we plan to run a joint incontinence clinic in Secondary Care run by both Gynaecology and Urology to ensure the patient gets seen by the right specialist at the right time. Apologies for the very brief outline, but would this be a project that would be appropriate for Q Exchange?
    Thanks for your help,
    Katie

    • Hi Katie!
Thank you for sharing your idea here in the group space, we’re encouraging members to put their ideas up on the Q Exchange page – even if it’s not fully formed! Then, ideas can be developed with support from the community, even if you then decide not to take your project forward and submit it.
      Beth

    • Hi Katie

It certainly sounds like a challenge to the traditional models of outpatient services, which is what this theme is all about. I’m sure the community will support you as you shape up the proposal and I’ll explore other contacts we may have.
