    Good morning everyone,
Colleagues from the Insight & Analysis Unit at the Health Foundation have created a briefing on ‘Improvement capabilities across boundaries’. I have posted the briefing in the ‘Documents’ tab.

The briefing offers an overview of the theme and provides examples of improvement projects that the Health Foundation has funded that relate specifically to cross border working between the NHS and local government.

Please do have a read and it would be great to hear if any of your ideas link to cross border working between the NHS and local government or any of the previously funded projects?

Looking forward to hearing more about your exciting ideas!
    Best wishes, Rosie

    • Can I just check whether the programme is exclusively interested in cross border working between the NHS and local government? Or would geographic or NHS/Voluntary sector boundaries also be considered?

      • Hi Amy,

The Q Exchange programme is open to exploring a range of projects that span at least one of the many boundaries experienced in the system.

NHS and local government is one example of cross boundaries, as there are so many possibilities we needed to narrow our focus for the purpose of the briefing.

We would encourage you to think about what boundaries you may experience which could include but is not limited to, disciplinary boundaries or across sector such as voluntary/ technology/ business etc. We would advise you to clarify the boundaries you are considering on your online ideas page (which can be uploaded form Monday 10 June to 01 July).

In April, Penny shared a blog with an introduction to the themes this might be good to revisit to get a sense of the two themes; https://q.health.org.uk/blog-post/q-exchange-2019-themes-announced/

        Many thanks, Rosie

    • Thanks Rosie, super helpful.
