    Hi Jane,
    
    Thank you great to be involved. I am interested in how we create a more compassionate healthcare system that delivers the best care possible for everyone. I’ve been involved in healthcare now for a few years and believe that the system is on the brink of collapse and that includes people’s compission and kindness. I think we need to look at how we can reimagine a healthcare system that is underpinned by kindness and compassion. Hope to contribute and look forward to hearing from friends on the forum.

  Hi Sean, A good learning quest. I think you are right, people under pressure and feeling bound by regulations that prevent them from doing whats important can become disconnected from the values that brought them into their work. When this happens there is often lack of compassion for everyone, staff and the people we support and care for. Many of the leaders I coach are stuck in this place, its not just a frontline occurance. I’m looking forward to sharing thoughts about how best to work with this situation.
