A new digital home for Q
We’ve redesigned Q’s website. Find out what has changed, why, and how you can make yourself feel at home here.
We’ve redesigned our website to put our users at the heart. Welcome.
Codesigning our new space
Going back to Q’s roots, over the last year, we’ve used audience research and a co-design group to create a new website with the people who use it. It’s a space where we can – and will – provide a more personal, intuitive experience.
It has also been built to support cross-sector connections for learning. We wanted to enable users to find support and ideas and see how others are bringing improvement into practice.
The website still has the familiar elements that we all know and appreciate. But we’ve prioritised the things that users told us were important. You should find it easier to navigate information, access resources, and connect with others, regardless of your technical expertise.
Thank you to Q members
This project has been supported by numerous Q members, partners, and stakeholders, and we couldn’t have done it without them. Their insight informed every stage of this work. Our co-design group offered thoughtful, structured feedback about the kinds of things that they want to be able to do when working within the website. And we’ve built these requests into this new site.
Some examples of changes we were told users wanted:
- “To easily search for, view and download resources so that I can continue to learn and improve in my work.”
- “To easily find and join a group so that I can connect and collaborate with others.”
Our new group spaces
One of the key features of our new site are the group spaces. These have been specifically designed for users to connect and collaborate, to share ideas and learning. There’s a new polling function, discussion boards and resource libraries to share your improvement work.
We built this new website on a new platform. For security reasons, we couldn’t transfer passwords over. All user accounts need to set a new password when accessing the member area for the first time. However, when you log in, this will activate your profile from the previous site, including membership to all your groups.

What next?
If you’ve already logged into the site, there are a few things other things you can do.
- Update your profile so other members can understand what you’re doing, and what you’re interested in.
- Introduce yourself in our “Welcome and Introductions” group and make new connections.
- Find and explore all the group spaces. Maybe you’ve got a burning question that someone in one of the groups can help answer?
- Explore our resources section to see if there’s anything new that could support your work.
